As part of the company's commitment to collaborate with African governments in the development of municipal solid waste, and agriculture waste management, in African countries and leveraging their potential, His Excellency ENG. CHARLES L. MILUPI, the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing, and Urban Development in the Republic of Zambia, along with His Excellency GEN. TOPPLY M Lubaya, the Ambassador of Zambia in Cairo, and a delegation consisting of 25 members, including government delegates and representatives from the private sector aimed to explore collaboration opportunities in the development of solid waste management. The company with its expertise in the field, particularly in Egypt and MENA, was chosen as a valuable resource for knowledge sharing.
The delegation was warmly welcomed and hosted by Dr. Hisham Sharif, the company Chairman. Mohab Sharif, the General Manager provided an overview of the company's diverse activities, and the delegation had the opportunity to have a tour in the manufacturing facilities. As a result of the visit, an arrangement was made to invite Dr. Hisham Sharif to visit the Republic of Zambia. This visit would enable him to gain a firsthand understanding of the local context and develop a proposal that aligns with the specific waste management needs in Zambia.
